Description
We have ongoing opportunities for labourers to join our team at our busy workshop in Port Clarence. The business has an outstanding track record across oil and gas, Energy from Waste ,renewable energy and marine sectors.
Main Roles & Responsibilities:
- Service Preparation, removing previous finishes, and ensuring clean;
- Use of power tools eg grinders;
- Operating overhead cranes after training;
- Set up of blast equipment;
- Operating Forklift Trucks after training;
- General housekeeping;
- Masking paintwork.
Basic hours of work are:
Monday-Thursday- 8am- 430pm
Friday- 8am -130pm
Rates of pay:
£10.93 basic dayshift
£14.57basic nightshift
Plus premium time applicable to overtime working with opportunity for site work throughout the UK.
What we are looking for:
- previous experience in either a shop or site environment in similar sectors would be beneficial but not essential.
- Train the Painter or ICATS accreditation is beneficial but not essential. Universal Coatings is accredited by Corrodere to deliver ‘Train the Painter’ and opportunity to attain this with us is available for the right candidates.
